The Desert Disc Divas was started by a core group of women that wanted to promote the sport and get more women involved. It started in Scottsdale at Vista del Camino Park in 2005 and has expanded in Phoenix as well as in Tucson. Since our inception, our number have gone from 5 to approximately 30 members. Women’s disc golf in Arizona has really taken flight........................

The Desert Disc Diva Leagues are handicap leagues. No matter what your skill level, handicapping levels the playing field giving everyone a chance to win. We offer new women the opportunity to play three times without paying and on their fourth time at league they pay and receive a free disc. The cost of this league is $5.00 per person, $4.00 goes directly to the payout and $1.00 goes to the women's league fund, which is used to help fund our tournaments. Coming to league will help you to improve your skills on the course while enjoying the health benefits of a low impact aerobic workout. Have fun staying healthy!!!!
